In September 2024, sustainability reporting became mandatory for large businesses.

As more of these businesses adopt Environment, Social and Governance goals and targets to comply with the new Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards, pressure from these businesses will increase on their value chains to become a part of achieving those goals and targets.
